Winter Park

Winter Park contains over 3,000 skiable acres that span across two distinct
mountains and is home to lots of beginner and intermediate trails, amazing tree skiing, world-class moguls and wide-open alpine bowls.

Banff - BRSC Winter Carnival
January 31 - February 7, 2026
Banff has three nearby ski resorts, Lake Louise, Sunshine, and Norquay, collectively known as SkiBig3. These resorts are all on the Ikon Pass. The entire area is stunningly beautiful and the town of Banff is very welcoming with dozens of great restaurants. With easy access from Calgary, the travel to Banff is easy for a major ski area.
Currently we are accepting reservations from members to gauge interest in this trip. Depending upon interest we could setup a Frederick Ski Club group or could partner with another Blue Ridge ski club.
Stratton Mountain
Midweek, Self Drive Trip
Members must log onto the website before registering.
Our 2026 midweek ski trip is to Stratton Mountain in Vermont. We will being staying at hotel rooms at the base of the mountain. You can walk to the slopes or take a shuttle ride that is less than 5 minutes. Stratton has just over 2,000 feet of vertical, 99 named runs, and over 670 acres of skiing. Breakfast buffet is included.
Cost varies depending on days of lift tickets needed:

Red Mountain
British Columbia, Canada
March 7 - March 14, 2026
Red Mountain has 3,850 skiable acres and we will have ski-in/ski-out accommodations.

While the trip is listed as full, there may be room for more so sign up and you will go on the wait list. We will respond as quickly as we can to folks on the wait list.
We are exploring an optional week pre-trip, February 28th - March 7th. The plans are to ski both Sun Peaks and Big White. The pre trip is full.
Madonna Di Campiglio - BRSC Eurofest
March 13 - 21, 2026
Madonna Di Campiglio is in Italy.
The Blue Ridge Ski Council Eurofest is going to Italy for 2026. If you are interested in this trip, contact Ron our VP of Skiing who can put you in touch with a participating BRSC club.
Whistler
January 9 - 16, 2027
With over 8,000 acres of skiing and a vertical drop of 5280 feet, Whistler is the largest ski resort in North American. There are two distinct mountains, Whistler and Blackcomb, that are connected by the 2.73 mile long Peak 2 Peak gondola. We will have lodging at the base of the mountain at the Delta Whistler Village Suites.
Estimated Package Price: $2,575 Includes: Airfare, Seven nights at the Delta Whistler Village Suites, Ground Transportation, 5 of 6 day lift ticket, and pizza party. (Cost includes estimated airfare).

Breckenridge - BRSC Winter Carnival
January 23 - 30, 2027
Breckenridge is a well known resort in Summit County Colorado with easy access from Denver and a great town with lots of off slope options. Breckenridge is on the Epic Pass.
New Hampshire Self Drive Ski Trip
February 7 - 12, 2027
We are researching a midweek self drive trip to New Hampshire. The plan is to stay within a short drive of Wildcat and Attitash, both Epic resorts. There is also the possibility for a group day at Brenton Woods. We are accepting reservations from members to gauge interest in this trip.
Drei Zinnen - BRSC Eurofest
March 6 - 13, 2027
Drei Zinnen (3 Peaks) is an Italian ski resort that is close to Austria. A great destination for non skiers with easy train access to Bolzano and Cortina.
Telluride
March 20 - 27, 2027
Telluride is a stunning ski resort with an authentic and charming town only a gondola ride away. Great snow, varied terrain across 2000 acres, and over 3800 feet of vertical. We will be staying at the Bear Creek Lodge which is mid-mountain. The club stayed in these condos during our last trip to Telluride.

Telluride requires Epic Day passes or a Full Epic Pass.
Snowmass - BRSC Winter Carnival
February 26th - March 4th, 2028
Snowmass is a well known resort in Colorado with three mountains in addition to Snowmass. Snowmass is on the Ikon Pass.
