Point to point hike on the Appalachian Trail (AT) south to north from Keys Gap to Harpers' Ferry.  Meet at 9:30 am behind the old church adjacent to the Appalachian Trail Conservancy (ATC) headquarters in Harpers Ferry.  

We will take the minimum number of cars required to transport hikers to the Keys Gap trailhead.  Note that parking at hte Keys Gap trailhead is extremely limited.  Please do not drive there searately.  For carpools, you must be fully vaccinated (includes the booster for COVID and face masks are mandatory.  If you are not fully vaccinated or unwilling to wear a mask carpooling, then please don't sign up for this hike.

We will hike a total pf ~13.5 Km (8-1/2 miles) which includes a side trip to the scenic Loudon Heights with three scenic vistas.  Near where the AT meets the Loudon Heights trail is a recently relocated trail section that was opened in October 2021.  This relocated AT section exhibits the latest in trail design and siting that incorporates low-maintenance and enhanced sustainability techniques.
