Bike Ride #19 - Antietam National Battlefield

We will travel to the Antietam National Battlefield to ride around the Historic Grounds by riding the Tour Route on the paved roads. Not sure of the distance, but do know there are hills throughout the grounds. There are 11 Tour stops about the battlefield. We can stop at Nutters Ice Cream Shop which opens at 2 in the afternoon. We can also pack a lunch, find some tables and enjoy the conversations. Helmets are required.

Directions: Traveling West on Interstate 70 from the Baltimore/Washington area: Exit 29 onto Rt. 65 South towards Sharpsburg. Travel about 10 miles south to the Park Visitor Center entrance which will be on your left side.
