Catoctin Mountain Park Classic Hike

Meet at 9:00 am at the Catoctin Mountain Park Visitor Center parking lot

• We need to meet early to be able to park there.

Elevation gain - 1200 ft 

Route type - Loop

Hiking time - 4 hours

This is a circuit trail with several great viewpoints covers: Cunningham Falls, Hog Rock, Blue Ridge Summit Overlook, Thurmont Vista, Woolf Rock, and Chimney Rock

Catoctin Mountain Park is a National Park but there are no entrance fees.

What do you need? A pair of hiking boots and a "can do" attitude. Plus, the usual: water, food/snack, rain gear, and a backpack.
