General information
Routes begin and end on Legislative Mall, 411 Legislative Ave., Dover, DE and are 16, 25, 50, 62 or 100 miles through peaceful, flat(!), low-traffic Amish countryside. Preliminary routes are available now. If you choose to download them now, be prepared to replace this version with an emailed final version closer to the event. We also recommend waiting to print cue sheets until we email them. Ours will be more detailed.
To promote safety at the start and to ensure that rest stops are not overwhelmed, with everyone finishing when the food and entertainment will be starting, a staggered start is currently planned for this year:
7 am – 8 am – 100 mile riders
8 am – 9 am – 50 & 62 mile riders
9 am – 10:30 am – 16 & 25 mile riders
Up to 5 rest stops are included Harvest Ridge Winery (MaryDel), Painted Stave Distillery (Smyrna), Felton Little League (Felton) and Emanuel AME Church (Hartly), depending on distance, but all routes stop at the Amish Schoolhouse (Dover), where you’ll enjoy our famous, fresh, locally-baked pie!
Following the bike tour, there will be an opportunity to purchase photos of your ride from Finisher Pix, finisher awards, food, deejay, live music by Glass Onion from 11 am- 3pm, a variety of vendors, our first swap meet/yard sale, stretching sessions offered by CNU Fit, lunch provided by Rolling Revolution food trucks including Masala Kitchens, Delaware Provisions, Outlandish and Wildwich. Adult beverages including Michelob Ultra, New Belgium Fat Tire, Down East Cider, and White Claw Surge from NKS Distributors plus wine pours and bottle sales through Harvest Ridge Winery with the purchase of adult beverage and bottle tickets.
All held on Legislative Mall (411 Legislative Ave) in historic downtown Dover, Delaware.

Fletcher’s Boathouse to National Harbor Place Bike Ride
Fun bike ride through DC, Alexandria, and over the Woodrow Wilson bridge to National Harbor. It is 90% flat and a small roadway section through Alexandria. Pls obey stop signs in Old Towne to prevent getting a ticket. Once at the Harbor, we can decide on length of a break at National Harbor for exploring the sights and lunch, the restaurants. Total distance is around 32 miles. There is long incline to the center of Woodrow Wilson Bridge over the Potomac from either direction. The views from the bump-outs on the bridge are awesome. A bit of a challenge for beginners, but can be done. On the Md. Side returning there is a cork screw ramp to the rest area over 495.
Directions: From 495, take the Glen Echo exit onto the Clara Barton Parkway. Follow the Clara Barton Parkway until it be-comes Canal Road. Continue on Canal Road until the entrance of Fletcher's at Canal and Reservoir Rd. Fletcher's is located on the right side of the road and you will see the Abner Cloud House, an old stone building next to the canal. A traffic light has been in-stalled to help with getting down the entrance. Turn left onto Reservoir Rd. and go up to make a u-turn and proceed back down to the traffic light. On the green light go across Canal and down the ramp to the upper parking lot. Parking is available on both sides of the canal.
